KATHMANDU, JULY 16
Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in fuel prices effective from Wednesday midnight.
The price of petrol has been slashed by Rs 5 per litre, while diesel and kerosene are cheaper by Rs 1 per litre.
Following the adjustment, the retail prices will be as follows:
- Petrol: Rs 157.50 (first category), Rs 159 (second), Rs 160 (third)
- Diesel/Kerosene: Rs 145.50, Rs 147, and Rs 148 per litre respectively
The state-owned oil corporation stated that the revision comes in response to a new price list issued by its supplier, Indian Oil Corporation.
