NOC slashes LPG price to Rs 1325

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation has slashed the price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs 25 per cylinder today. The new price would be effective from Tuesday midnight.

As per the revised rate, the cooking gas would cost Rs 1,325.

"The NOC management this evening decided to reduce the price following the price revision in the international market," said NOC Spokesperson Sita Ram Pokharel.

"The prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene, however, has not changed," he added. " Petrol would be sold for Rs 98, diesel, kerosene for Rs 74 per litre and aviation fuel for Rs 82 per litre, as earlier."

The Indian Oil Corporation sends a price index to the NOC every month. This is theĀ  rate set for the month of August.

Earlier on July 2, the Corporation had reduced the fuel prices by Rs 2 in petrol, diesel and kerosene each.
