Qatar Airways’ tourism promotion

KATHMANDU: Qatar Airways in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) organised an even to promote tourism in Nepal, in Kathmandu, on Friday.

The event was inaugurated by Jitendra Narayan Dev, minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. In inaugural session, Minister Dev said that non-resident Nepalis could promote tourism in the country by bringing at least one tourist.

The panelists for the event were Maheshwor Neupane, secretary, MoCTCA; Prof Tim Gocher, CEO of  Dolma Impact Fund and president of Dolma Foundation; Madhu Sudan Acharya, president, Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents; Upaul Majumdar, general manager, Soaltee Crowne Plaza; Jyotshna Shrestha, chairperson, Tourism and Aviation Committee, FNCCI; Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO, NTB; Yubaraj Ghimire.
