Renault supports ‘No Horn’ campaign

Supported by Renault Nepal, Kathmandu Metropolitan Traffic Police Department and the Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Baisakh 1, 2074 (April 15) announced the ‘No Horn’ campaign within Kathmandu Valley.

The main purpose of this campaign is to create awareness towards increasing noise pollution, reads a media release issued by Renault Nepal.

The growing number of vehicles within Kathmandu Valley is contributing in amplifying noise pollution making unbearable condition for general public and traffic to function properly. In this regard, ‘Renault assumes its share of responsibility in harnessing mobility so as to improve the quality of life for everyone’.

Renault, as a responsible carmaker and pioneer in sustainable mobility, broadly provides affordable solutions with innovative technologies and serves the society where necessary, the release states. “It also involves helping to change behaviour and usages.”

The release says Renault supports actions to promote education, diversity and well being, which are the most powerful drivers of performance as well as individual and collective development. “This initiative will surely receive gratitude from hospitals, schools and other institutions, who have been dealing with this issue for a long time.”
