Service available for eSewa, Khalti, Hamro Pay, and more via Nabil Bank's EPG
KATHMANDU, AUGUST 21
Smart Choice Technologies Ltd. (SCT), a licensed payment system operator under Nepal Rastra Bank, has announced that funds can now be directly loaded into mobile wallets using SCT-UnionPay cards.
With this new feature, cardholders can transfer money to wallets such as eSewa, Khalti, Hamro Pay, and others through all wallet and merchant applications integrated with Nabil Bank's Electronic Payment Gateway (EPG).
The service allows customers to seamlessly use their SCT-UnionPay cards beyond POS terminals-covering payments for e-commerce, airline ticket purchases, and digital transactions.
Currently, SCT issues SCT-UnionPay cards through 23 banks, financial institutions, and over 100 cooperatives. Interested customers can obtain the debit card from SCT's member institutions.
