South Asia China Trade Fair 2010 on the anvil
KATHMANDU: Nepal-China Executive Council (N-CEC) along with Nepal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (N-CCCI) will be organizing the South Asia China Trade Fair 2010 which will commence on April 8.
This will be the fourth major trade fair organised by N-CEC. The main attraction this year is that the China Council for Promotion of International Trade, Sichuan, will be participating along with a fifty member delegation.
This year, the fair will not be restricted to only SAARC countries including Myanmar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India. Other countries are also looking to take part in this fair.
“We are the hub for China and other South Asian Countries and we look for opportunities such as these to create that platform for South Asian countries to come together on common ground and share what they have to offer,” said Shankar Ghimire, executive member of N-CEC.
There will be a total of 150 exhibitors who will showcase a wide array of quality products ranging from automobiles, furniture, machinery and electronics.
The fair is not restricted to any particular kind of product. It will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap over a period of four days from April 8 to April 11.
The number of visitors expected to visit this trade fair is said to be over 100,000.
