Spice Nepal in con game,

Butwal, November 14:

Nepal Communication Entrepreneurs Association (NCEA) has accused the Mero Mobile dealers of Spice Nepal in Lumbini Zone of swindling customers.

“We are obliged to charge additional amount from the customers due to the misuse of commission by the dealers,” NCEA said. It is reported that dealers of Spice Nepal have been charging Rs 55 per recharge card and whisking away Rs 4 per card despite their promise to supply them through the communication entrepreneurs at Rs 51and providing them with 5 per cent commission.

“The commission to be given to the entrepreneurs is being scooped up by the dealers themselves,” said NCEA, adding that such trend has forced the customers to pay additional charge. According to NCEA chairman Nirmal Sharma, a total of 225,000 Simcards have been distributed so far in the zone alone and transaction of Rs 5,000,000 has been taking place daily.
