TGP to sell genuine parts
Kathmandu, April 21:
Tata Motors and its authorised distributor Sipradi Trading Pvt Ltd today announced the setting up of a Tata genuine parts (TGP) distribution company for Tata commercial vehicles in Nepal.
The new company - Sipradi Auto Parts Pvt Ltd (SAPL) - has begun its operation today with a network of 71 authorised parts outlets across the country and corporate showroom in Kathmandu.
This network will ensure easy availability of TGP for Tata commercial vehicles across the country, states a company press release here.
Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile company with revenues of $5.5 billion in 2005-06. With over four million Tata vehicles plying in India, it is the leader in commercial vehicles segment and second largest in passenger vehicles segment. It is also the world’s fifth largest medium and heavy truck marker and the second largest heavy bus manufacturer.
Tata cars, buses and trucks are being marketed in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and South East Asia and in Australia.
Besides being the authorised distributor of Tata motors in Nepal, Sipradi has extensive service and spare parts network in Nepal.
It has a 24x7 state-of-the-art commercial and passenger vehicle workshop in Kathmandu with 36 bays to service Tata vehicles.
