KATHMANDU: As part of a series of promotional initiatives that is being implemented by Turkish Airlines for the year 2016, the airlines has joined hands with Standard Chartered Bank Nepal by signing an agreement to provide its priority clients up to eight per cent discount on Economy class, up to 10 per cent discount on Business class fares and an extra 10kg baggage allowance. This agreement is effective from June 1, the company said in a statement issued on Sunday. Established in 1933 with a fleet of five aircraft, Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines is a four-star airline today with a fleet of 308 (passenger and cargo) aircraft flying to more than 285 destinations worldwide.
