UTS turns 50

KATHMANDU: United Traders Syndicate (UTS) — sole distributor of Toyota vehicles in Nepal, which was established in 1967 — has celebrated its 50 years in the country.

On the occasion, UTS inaugurated a new building that provides one-stop solution to Toyota customers seeking sales, after sales service and spare parts facilities. The new building built on nine ropanis of land at Dhumbarahi of Capital city with new state-of-the-art technology houses administrative office, showroom (sales), after sales service and spare parts.

The new facility was inaugurated jointly by UTS President Suraj Vaidya, Managing Director Ritu Singh Vaidya and Hiroyuki Fukui, president of Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. UTS has also developed a community park adjacent to building named ‘Anandanagar Vijaya Udhhan’ in memory of UTS founding president Vijaya Gajanan Vaidya.
