Unnati Cultural Village is organising Unnati Mela from tomorrow at the Unnati Cultural Village in Harkapur, Nawalparasi, coinciding with Unnati's anniversary and International Women's Day.

The one-day event, featuring various activities and workshops, is designed to support and empower women micro-entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs in the districts of Nawalpur and Chitwan.

The event will showcase various activities, including a Digital and Mobile Banking Workshop, Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Training, Nawalpur Residency Exhibition, and inauguration of an Open-Air Museum.

The Digital and Mobile Banking Workshop will be facilitated by Manjil Dulal, branch manager at Nabil Bank, Kawaswoti.

The workshop will focus on financial literacy, online financial services, digital banking applications, features, payment portals, and benefits. The workshop aims to help local women micro-entrepreneurs and women's groups expand their businesses and achieve financial inclusion.

Ashwin Neupane will facilitate the Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Training.

This workshop is ideal for young entrepreneurs, marketing professionals, and business start-ups. The training will cover social media marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO), digital marketing, data analysis, and brand management.

Major highlights of the programme include Nawalpur Residency Exhibition and inauguration of Open-Air Museum. The Nawalpur Residency Exhibition will showcase beauty of village life in Nawalpur and Chitwan. It is the result of a month-long residency programme by six photographers and videographers.

The Open-Air Museum, on the other hand, will showcase exquisite ceramic, glass, clay, and stone art installations created by renowned Nepali and international artists.
