RIO DE JANEIRO: " Lethal Weapon" co-star Danny Glover is to marry his longtime Brazilian girlfriend in a December, he told a Rio de Janeiro film festival this week, according to the O Globo newspaper.

Glover, 63, said he and teacher Eliane Cavalleiro, 43, would seek to live together afterwards in the United States, "but that's not definitive."

"We can live here and there. All I know is that I want to be with her. We'll see how the logistics work out," he told the festival on Monday.

Glover met Cavalleiro in 2003 when he attended the World Social Forum in the southern Brazilian city of Porto Alegre.

The actor, who featured in the movie "Blindness" last year by Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles, is in the cast of the new apocalyptic science-fiction film "2012" currently in theatres.
