KATHMANDU: Badrinath Ki Dulhania has hit the theatres near you. And SilkAir is the official airline partner for the film, according to a press statement issued by the airlines.

"SilkAir is happy and excited to be associated with the movie. We believe the association will help us reach out to more people in Nepal to create awareness about Singapore," SilkAir's Nepal Manager Vivek Jain was quoted as saying in the release about their association. "SilkAir is celebrating 10 years of its operations in Nepal in 2017, and the movie will help us showcase our new Boing 737-800 Aircraft with business and economy class configuration. Our wireless in-flight entertainment system and gourmet menu will make our passengers experience how SilkAir is 'a joy to fly'."

SilkAir is the regional wing of Singapore Airlines and operates five times weekly from Kathmandu to Singapore, connecting to over 100 destinations.

"Shooting in Singapore was amazing. We even managed to celebrate Diwali amidst the long shooting schedule. We also partied hard at Clarke Quay and shopped till we dropped at Orchard Road. Sentosa was fun too!" Dhawan has been quoted as saying in the release.

Bhatt expressed, "Since we were there for so many days, we got to see sights and sounds of Singapore that you wouldn't normally see otherwise. Singapore also gave me my first rollercoaster ride at Universal Studios! Badrinath Ki Dulhania is a very special film for me as shooting with a renowned airline brand and their real crew was a unique experience."
