NEW YORK: Tom Hanks’ wife Rita Wilson is embroiled in a legal battle over the non-payme-nt for a 1962 Beatles poster priced at $75,000 she bought as a present for Hanks, Tmz.com reports. According to the lawsuit, she agreed to pay the amount to the seller, Melissa Pearl, if she could provide a certificate of authenticity. When Pearl could not, Wilson backed out. Pearl then asked for an additional $300,000 for “her time and trouble to obtain the evidence requested by Wilson that the poster was authentic”. HNS
