Beckhams want baby girl now
LONDON: Stick-thin former Spice girl Victoria Beckham is trying to gain weight in a bid to have another baby. She and soccer star husband David Beckham want a sister for their three sons. But doctors have told Victoria that her normal fat-free diet of steamed fish and vegetables does not help fertility.
So the fashion icon has switched to high-carb diet such as home-cooked pasta, potato dishes, rice and brown bread to boost her energy, reported thesun.co.uk.
“It’s no secret Victoria and David want a little girl. After Louise (Victoria’s sister) said she was having a daughter it has driven Victoria even more to prepare for pregnancy,” said a source.
“She’s been told by doctors her diet, though healthy, would not give her the best chance of conceiving, particularly in her 30s. Instead she has been advised to eat a lot more carbs and fatten up. She has agreed and David is over the moon. They will try for another child after the World Cup,” added the source.
Beckham couple have three sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 7, and five-year-old Cruz.
