Destination Thailand

KATHMANDU: If the US, the UK and Australia don’t exactly come to your mind when you think of studying abroad, then this might be the fair you should be visiting — the two-day Study Thailand Education Fair 2008 that began on September 19 at Hotel de’l Annapurna.

This is the first time in Nepal that such an exhibition focussing on education in Thailand is being held.

Universities in Thailand are gaining popularity especially in South East Asia with the quality education they provide. They have more than 350 international programmes which are taught in English.

With eight renowned universities from Thailand taking part in the fair, you can get detailed information about the universities from the representatives themselves.

One can get information about the universities, courses offered especially for the under-graduate and graduate programmes and schools as well. Besides that one can get to know about scholarships offered, tuition and fees and living expenses. For those interested, on-the-spot admission is also being offered.

Entry is free.
