ACE Day celebrated
KATHMANDU: The ACE Day was celebrated at BICC on March 15. The programme started with the inauguration of their magazine VERVE by Kunda Mani Dixit. It was a day that saw the managers and business executives from corporate houses and students of ACE competing against each other. Different interesting events like Quizophrenia: Business Quiz, Zero dB: Dumb Charades and MAD ADS were conducted. The participants were from corporate houses like BOK, NCC, VIBOR, VLCC Nepal, Fly yeti.com, Himalayan Food & Snacks and others, while it was students from MBA, MBAe and EMBA level who took part. Besides the competitions, entertaining dance numbers and melodious songs were also performed by the students. Preeti Kaur also sang some of her popular numbers.
The prizes for the winners were provided by Sony, Fly yeti.com, Trisha, VLCC Nepal, Radisson Hotel, Hotel Yak & Yeti, the boss and Kwalakhu Café. KATHMANDU: Hanuman Onulus Nepal, part of Hanuman Onulus Italy, provided 20 computers to Shree Chandrodaya Higher Secondary School at Bishaltar, Benighat on March 10. They also inaugurated the newly constructed classrooms of Shree Shuwarneshwore Lower Secondary School, Bhaktapur on March 13. Members of Hanuman Onulus Italy and Nepal were present at the function. According to Rajesh Maharjan, Hanuman Onulus Nepal, “Members from Italy come to Nepal once every six months to see the progress. They take handicraft goods and locally made products from Nepal and sell it in Italy. It is from the proceeds of these products that the schools are being helped.” They have already constructed buildings for seven schools in various parts of the country and are providing full scholarships to 32 students from these schools. — HNS
