Energetic Qawwali evening
After watching such the performance, a member of the audience Ram Gopal Yadav from Sanepa expressed, “Qawwali is an important form of music in India. It is presented through the medium of songs and the clapping of hands in one voice while decorating poetry. It includes human’s character, life to death like the one Bharti and her troupe presented.”
He has been listening to qawwali for years. Presented in Urdu and Hindu, what he liked the most about the show was “her (Bharti) singing style and her beautiful expression of words, eyes and hands”.
Meanwhile another audience, Prabhakar Kumar Singh felt that “these kinds of events will develop the relationship between the two countries (Nepal and India)”. For him who enjoyed the musical show thoroughly, “the programme has elevated the India’s Independence celebration”.
On the other hand, Bharti was thankful to the audience for “taking the precious time out for us and came here”. She was also grateful for being able to be acquainted with them.
