Special sneak preview of the Film South Asia 2007 was organised at the Yala Maya Kendra, on September 23. The programme started with Kanak Mani Dixit giving an introduction about the festival. The documentaries to be screened consist of different social and cultural issues of different countries. Along with the previews of the movies special screening of Oscar winning director Michael Moore’s latest documentary Sicko based on medical insurance problem Americans are facing was also shown. Dixit impersonating Moore did create a humourous environment. Screening of various South Asian documentaries will start from October 11 to 14 at the Kumari Hall.
