LONDON: Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher has written a song in tribute to late Beatles singer John Lennon for his new album Dig Out Your Own Soul.

Liam isn’t known as the sensitive type, but he has gone out of his way to write two songs for the greatest loves of his life — Lennon and wife Nicole — the sun.co.uk reports. Liam claims he got into music when he had an out-of-body experience featuring Lennon. And he feels he is still haunted by his ghost.

A source said, “Liam has so much passion for the subject. He’s obsessed. That’s why the song is so brilliant and poignant.”
