LONDON: Teen star Dakota Fanning has said that she may have responsibility of being a celebrity, but it does not mean she has to be perfect.

The War of the Worlds child-star admitted that a lot of people look up to her as a role model.

“I think that when you’re in the public eye, you automatically become a role model, because people are reading about you and looking at pictures of stuff you’ve done,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling V magazine.

She added, “But, you know, no one’s perfect, everyone makes mistakes.
