Jodie Kidd's slim struggle

LOS ANGLES: Former supermodel Jodie Kidd is struggling to stay slim now she's in her 30s and now has to watch what she eats and exercise regularly.

Jodie Kidd is struggling to stay slim now she's in her 30s.

The former supermodel - whose tiny size six figure caused controversy when she first appeared on the catwalk in the 90s - is now a healthy size 12-14 but admits she finds it tough to keep her curves in check.

The 31-year-old blonde, who is 6ft 2in, said: "I'm lucky that I'm super tall - I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted and it would just kind of drop into my legs!

"But then my mid-20s came and so did the bum. I'm a country girl, so I used to ride horses to stay active, but I'm in London a lot now so I joined a gym. I actually quite like it because I always end up watching TV on the big screens!"

As well as exercise, Jodie - who is training for the London marathon and runs 10 miles several times a week - has to watch what she eats.

She told Closer magazine: "I have a 31-inch waist - it used to be a 28 - so now I'm really starting to watch what I eat. I'm cutting down on carbs, which is tough."
