Madonna’s kids to stay in US

LONDON: Former couple Madonna and Guy Ritchie reached a custody settlement that will see their children make the US their home, it has emerged.

The Queen of Pop was previously alleged to have won a court order to relocate 12-year-old Lourdes, her daughter from a previous relationship, and their sons Rocco, eight, and adopted David, three, to the US from her ex-hubby’s native land, England.

The duo, who officially ended their eight-year-marriage in January this year, were spotted heading to a New York court after being locked in a bitter battle over where the children were to be raised, reports the Sun.

However, attorneys were said to have landed a last-minute deal which would allow

Rocco and David to live with their mum while their dad agreed to regular visits. The children would purportedly also see their Brit father in the UK during holidays. — Agencies

Beyonce is one man woman

LOS ANGELES: Pop star Beyonce Knowles has revealed that her husband Jay-Z has been the only man in her life romantically.

The 27-year-old singer, who likes to keep her love life under warps, started dating the rapper in 2002 and the pair tied the knot in a secret ceremony in New York last year.

Knowles has admitted that she has never suffered a broken heart - because her relationship with Jay-Z is her only romance.

“Fortunately I haven’t had any breakups! This is my first relationship,” the Daily Star quoted her, as telling LA Confidential Magazine, “We were together for a really long time before we got married; we were in no rush,” she added.

And the singer has claimed that, contrary to media reports, their relationship is strong,

“I’m very, very happy, that’s all I’ll say. It’s just natural for people to start rumours and try to break things up,” she added. — Agencies
