LONDON: Megan Fox is the hottest woman alive - according to North Americans.

The Transformers beauty, who came second to Cheryl Cole in the British version, topped US FHM's 100 Sexiest Women In The World 2009 poll for the second successive year.

She becomes only the second woman to retain her crown following Jennifer Lopez's double in 2001 and 2002.

Megan was joined in the top five by fellow actresses Jessica Alba (second), Scarlett Johansson (third), Jessica Biel (fourth) and Madeline Zima (fifth).

Newcomers to the list, excluding Elisha Cuthbert (seventh), make up the remaining places in the top ten: Adriana Lima (sixth), Heidi Montag (eighth), Anne Hathaway (ninth) and Katy Perry (tenth).

Britney Spears made the biggest comeback, jumping from 100th place in 2008 to this year's No12.
