KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 5

Nepal's premier folk-rock band, Nepathya, kicked off their Nepal tour this year with a mesmerizing performance in Hetauda.

In a press statement, the band's management company, Nepalaya, announced that the first leg of the tour will cover four cities, with the second leg scheduled for November.

The band opened the show at the fully packed Bhutandevi School premises with their smash hit "Ho Rama Ho." Throughout the concert, Nepathya delivered a dynamic mix of both classic and new songs, captivating the audience at every turn.

During the performance, lead singer Amrit Gurung encouraged the audience to explore their own country and performed a song he composed during his journey to the Dhaulagiri region:

Towards the end of the program, the band performed "Resham" and "Talko Pani", concluding the show with the patriotic song "Rato Ra Chandrasurya."

As is customary, Amrit was accompanied by Dhruba Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on madal, and Dineshraj Regmi on keyboard.

Following the successful Hetauda concert, Nepathya is set to perform at the Butwal International Conference Centre in Ramnagar, Butwal, on Saturday.

For audience convenience, tickets for most concerts can be purchased directly online. Seats can be secured through online booking via Nepathya's official website:nepathya.com.np, reads the statement.
