No one can deny the fact that Nima Rumba is one of the best singers in Nepal. There are singers who have continuously done solo concerts but fans are still waiting for Nima’s solo concert. When? Even the singer has no answer. “I will be doing solo concert here in Kathmandu but it will take time. I am at present busy with other work,” confirms Nima. But here is good news for Nima fans in Birgunj and Shillong (India). He is doing a solo concert in Birgunj on March 5 and come April he will be in Shillong.

His latest album ‘Faith’ is doing well in the market and the singer says, “Music videos of ‘Sajha Ma Pani’ from ‘Faith’ are finished and the good news for my fans is that they can watch the videos on certain television channels. I hope you like it.”

He is also involved in a restaurant and bar called ZOM in Thamel. He does not want to reveal much about his involvement in the ZOM but a source close to him reveals that the restaurant belongs to Nima and some of his friends. “No comments!” he says.

Seems that his professional life is rolling well but how about his personal life? “Well, God has been kind to me so far. My personal life is as good as my professional life. Touch wood!”

But last Friday he quarrelled with his wife Sheli. Reason? “I was late in coming home and she was worried. I was wrong but I didn’t realise then. We discussed and later I realised I was wrong and said ‘Sorry’.”
