PICK OF THE WEEK: You can read The Tales only if you’re 12 or above

A website is giving Harry Potter fans the chance to read The Tales of Beedle the Bard, but only if they’re over 12. The book, hand-written by JK Rowling, is one of only seven in the world, and was bought by Amazon for £1,950,000. But lots of younger Potter fans can’t even enter, because there are only two categories, one for 13-17-year-olds and one for adults. Fans have to answer one of three questions in 100 words or less to enter. What songs do wizards use to celebrate birthdays? What sports do wizards play besides Quidditch? What have you lear-ned from the Potter series that you use in everyday life?

The winner will travel to London with a friend, and spend a whole wee-kend poring over The Tales.
