LONDON: Victoria Beckham has reportedly been taking acting lessons in a bid to win a role in the new Sex and the City movie.

The former Spice Girl is said to be desperate to win a cameo role in the next Sex and the City movie so wants to show producers she is taking it seriously.

The mother-of-three — who is carving out a successful career as a fashion designer — has previously revealed her disappointment at not being able to take up the cameo role.

She said, “I got asked to be in the Sex and the City film, which I would love to have done. But, because I am in full-on Spice Girls rehearsals, I can’t do it.”

Last year she appeared as herself in a cameo role in Ugly Betty.
