Highly influenced by his grandmother, a piano instructor and classical singer aunt, Pugsley began his musical journey at the age of eight. It’s been 30 years since he has been playing Blues, Classical, Jazz and almost everything.

Talking about his passion for Blues, Pugsley put it in simple words, “Blues is the roots, and everything else is the fruits.”

When he was contacted to participate, his secretary told him to grab the opportunity that would allow him to visit Nepal, which he had been longing to and play music for the people here. “After coming here I am delighted to see the passion the youth here have for Blues music,” says the artiste from Australia.

On Blues as music Pugsley says, “Blues is powered by raw emotions. It’s simple music where you get lots of space to inject your emotions and improvise a lot.”
