LONDON: Singer Rihanna who recently patched up with estranged lover Chris Brown reportedly did so after realising that she was expecting his child.

The reconciliation came as a surprise as the 21-year-old Disturbia singer had vowed never to return to Brown who had allegedly assaulted her three weeks ago. The pair who reportedly patched up at rap mogul Sean Combs’ Miami mansion were later clicked together at the airport for the first time after the infamous February 8 incident, reported dailymail.co.uk.

The music world was left stunned as a leaked picture of Rihanna taken after the incident surfaced on a celebrity website, revealing shocking cuts and bruises on her face. But Rihanna seems to have forgiven the alleged assaulter with reports suggesting she is yet to file a case against him. But Brown will have to appear in court on March 5.

Brown whose career and public image took a major hit after the incident, was desperate for Rihanna’s forgiveness and sent her an expensive diamond necklace among other things as a gift for her 21st birthday.

Radio stations across the US had removed Brown’s ongs from their playlists. Rihanna’s spokesman refused to comment on reports the singer is pregnant.
