Rupy’s International celebrates silver jubilee

Kathmandu:

Ensuring that their students get the best of education and focusing on overall development of the students, Rupy’s International School has come a long way.

The school celebrated its 25th anniversary on December 17 at Birendra International Convention Centre.

The programme started by welcoming Princess Himani by the Principal and Panchakanyas. Then it was the poised head boy and head girl who came on stage as the presenters of the programme. The students had a delightful line up of songs, dances and plays for the audience. Be it the charming young kids singing Christmas carols and saraswati vandana or the seniors’ skits and plays, it was thoroughly entertaining. Soothing voices were heard singing popular songs along with the sound of the strumming of guitar. And there were enthralling dance performances in famous Nepali and Hindi songs too. However, the highlight of the event certainly was the enthusiasm with which the students sang Rato ra Chandra Surya and Christmas carols. The well-designed sets and the elegant costumes gave the programme a special touch.

Besides the entertaining shows a slide show was also shown which revolved around 25 years journey of the school. Prize distribution was also held at the end of the programme.
