Here is another piece of good news for the Capital’s film buffs. On the occasion of the Day of Russia on June 12, the Russian Centre of Science and Culture is organising a Russian action film festival from June 12-16.

According to a Russian Centre press release, the festival is being organised to give entertainment to the Nepali audience through Russian action cinematography.

The film festival will start with the screening of The White Sun of the Desert, which is an action film about the Red Army fighting the counter-revolutionary robber bands.

The other films that will be screened at the festival are The Elusive Avengers, The New Adventures of the Elusive Avengers and Crown of Russian Empire and Property of the Republic.

All movies will be screened at the Russian Culture Centre at 4:30 pm.
