French actress Audrey Tautou was so shocked to be asked to audition for the part of Sophie Neveu in the movie The Da Vinci Code that she took a photograph of director Ron Howard as proof.

According to contactmusic.com, Tautou alw-ays keeps her camera at hand in case she needs photographic evidence of the outlandish situations she finds herself in. Her screen test with Tom Hanks was one of them. “I took out my camera to get a souvenir snapshot and to prove to my sister I really had met Ron Ho-ward and Hanks.”
