KATHMANDU: Warm up your nights with some sensational music at the Surya Rhythm Nites to be held on December 1 and 2 in Kathmandu and Pokhara respectively.

This time round, Indipop sensation Akriti will fly all the way from India while Kolkata’s famous famous DJ Carlotta Lackman will make you sway to her groove.

DJ Carlotta is the only woman resident DJ in Kolkata playing at the sports bar Winning Streak Hotel Hindustan International.

In an interview with one of the Indian newspapers earlier, she’d said, “People come to a nightclub to enjoy. I want to play music to make people happy.”

Before plunging into the world of DJ-ing, she choreographed for a few fashion shows and kind of DJ-ed at a few parties as hobby. DJ Carlotta is into commercial music both English and Hindi, and she does not fail to churn out a good collection of Bhangra numbers while also going the retro way at times. However, her music is the kind that the crowd wants as she believes in pampering the crowd and playing their requests.

So, be there at Yak and Yeti on December 1 to be pampered by this sultry DJ.
