Nepal was defeated by Uzbekistan in the final match of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Men's U20 Volleyball Championship.
The match, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, concluded on Friday with Nepal losing to Uzbekistan in 3-1 sets. Nepal won the first set 27-25 but then lost the next three sets 25-10, 25-16, and 25-20.
In the group stage, Nepal secured victories against Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan, and the Maldives, while suffering defeats against Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Nepal earned its place in the final by winning its last group match against Turkmenistan.
The championship, organized by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation, featured participants from Nepal, Turkmenistan, the Maldives, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, along with the host nation.
It commenced on October 6.
