Five senior officials assigned new roles to enhance efficiency and coordination within Health Ministry

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 5

The Ministry of Health and Population has reassigned the responsibilities of several divisional heads in a bid to improve efficiency and coordination within the ministry.

According to Ministry Spokesperson Dr Prakash Budhathoki, the reshuffle was carried out following a ministerial decision aimed at making administrative functions more effective and organised.

Under the new arrangement, Dr Madan Kumar Upadhyay has been appointed Director of the Family Welfare Division, Dr Radhika Thapaliya as Director of the National Health Education, Information and Communication Centre, Keshav Pandit as Head of the Management Division, and Dr Roshan Neupane as Director of the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD).

Similarly, Dr Pawan Jung Rayamajhi has been transferred as Director of the Therapeutic Services Division, Spokesperson Budhathoki said.
