KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested 11 persons red-handed on the charge of illegal gambling from a house in Matatirtha of Chandragiri Municipality-8 in Kathmandu district.

Police arrested a local Prakash Magar (36) and 10 others from the house belonging to Madhav KC yesterday.

Police also confiscated Rs 75,855 cash and 16 Cowrie shells from the site.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
