KATHMANDU, JUNE 11

Kathmandu University is set to confer degrees to 1,129 students in the second phase of its 30th convocation on Friday.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli who is also the Chancellor of KU will chair the ceremony, with Mount Sinai Health System CEO Dr. Brendan Carr as chief guest.

Graduates include students from six schools, with 118 international students among them. Degrees range from undergraduate to PhD levels.

KU will also award gold medals to top performers across various faculties. With this ceremony, KU's total graduates will reach 47,831, including 5,660 international students.
