KATHMANDU: Two people were injured when a motorcycle and a bicycle collided with each other at Bhatbhateni on Tuesday.

The injured have been identified as cyclist Sone Lal Majhi (60) of Siraha, currently residing at Bishalnagar, and motorcyclist Santosh Thapa Magar (18) of Kathmandu.

Both the injured are being treated at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj.

Police said that the incident occurred when the motorbike (Ba 63 Pa 6482) heading towards Bhatbhateni from Bishalnagar collided head-on with the bicycle this afternoon.
