KATHMANDU: Police arrested an absconding convict of government seal and signature forgery from Suryabinayak of Bhaktapur district on Wednesday.

A team deployed from the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police had nabbed Anil Gothe (32) of Bhaktapur Municipality-17, currently residing in Suryabinayak Municipality-5.

He was absconding after the Kathmandu District Court, on June 12, 2012, slapped one-year jail term and Rs 50,000 fine on charge of making a fake driving licence and using it.

He was booked under the Forgery column of the Muluki Ain (Civil Code).

Meanwhile, police produced him before the Court for execution of the verdict. The Court ordered that the absconding youth be sent to the Jagannath Dewal Jail.
