KATHMANDU: Unified CPN Maoist Vice-chairman, Dr Baburam Bhattarai today said aconclusive fight for the peoples’ republic

would begin from the Kathmandu Valley soon.

“The conclusive fight for peoples’ republic will be fought in the Kathmandu Valley and that would be a decisive one,” said Dr Bhattarai, president of United National Peoples’ Movement- a front of the party, while addressing a function organised by Newa National Liberation Front in Lalitpur, today.

He further said the nation was polarised into two - progressive and regressive forces.

“The progressive forces should be ready to take on the regressive forces and should overthrow them,” he said.
