KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 18
Agni Group marked its 35th anniversary with a major CSR initiative, handing over two Mahindra XUV400 electric SUVs to the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH).
The vehicles were provided through Agni Foundation, the company's nonprofit arm, during an event in Budanilkantha on Sunday. Foundation President Susan Vaidya Shrestha said the support reflected the company's commitment to uplifting communities.
KIOCH Chairperson Prof. Dr. Bhagawan Koirala said the EVs would strengthen outreach programmes such as school health checks, community health initiatives, and disease screening, benefiting thousands of children nationwide.
Agni Foundation has previously supported upgrades to the PICU and NICU at TU Teaching Hospital, including a dedicated parents' lounge. The Foundation said it will continue supporting health, education, sports and disaster recovery initiatives.
