KATHMANDU: A man who was critically injured after a truck hit the motorcycle that he was riding on Thursday at Naikap on the outskirts of Kathmandu has died during the course of treatment at Bir Hospital.

Police identified the victim as 30-year-old Amit Kachela of Banepa, Kavre.

Police have impounded the truck and detained its driver.
