CIAA fiat to ensure good governance

Kathmandu, July 11:

The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today directed the government authorities to promulgate code of conduct and implement them in order to promote good governance in the public service.

At a programme, the CIAA told the authorities to promulgate code conduct as per the Clause 23 of the Good Governance Act, 2007.

The CIAA had invited all director generals at the interaction programme.

Director generals of all departments of all ministries attended the programme.

The DGs of the Land Revenue Department and Tax Department were among those who took part in the discussion programme with the anti-corruption body.

Chief commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Lalit Bahadur Limbu called them to implement the code of conduct to make public service more accountable and responsible and reliable.
