KATHMANDU: Department for International Development (DFID) is organising a three-day South Asian regional workshop for journalists on climate change beginning tomorow in the capital. Some 30 journalists from the region are participating in the workshop.

Issuing a press release, DFID said, "The journalists will be informed about climate change in general and its impact on the Himalayas in particular." The changes in the Himalayas of Nepal will affect 700 million people in India and Bangladesh.
