Dahal stresses unity between leftist

Kathmandu, January 21

Unified CPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal today stressed on the unity between all leftist parties in the country to resolve the current political problems facing the country.

Launching a book ‘History of development of materialism and aesthetics’ authored by Krishna Das Shrestha in the capital today, Dahal said Nepali communists need to create a common ground for working together for the sake of people and the country.

“We all communists have the same school of thought and ideology, but our political oversight led to disintegration of leftist forces in the country.”

He also said that the communist movement was losing steam due to disintegration of communist forces and increasing dominance of capitalist forces.

Commenting on the book, CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya, litterateurs Ninu Chapagain, Amar Giri and Jagdish Chandra Bhandari said the book gives a glimpse into the communist movements across the world.
