KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal's secretariat brushed off a news report titled 'Dr KC's demands are genuine: Prachanda', as an inauthentic piece of rumour.

In a statement issued Friday, the secretariat clarified that the report involving Dr Govinda KC and leader Dahal does not hold any truth.

Both Prime Minister, and Chairperson Dahal have the same stand to Dr KC's demands and Dahal had not briefed media on this issue, said the statement condemning the report
