Debate competition

KATHMANDU: Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Rakesh Sood on Tuesday said extra curricular activities play a great role in enhancing the personality of students. Sood said this while awarding the winners of an inter-school debate competition, organised by Indian Embassy at Kendriya Vidyalaya on the occasion of 140th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Twenty students, representing 10 schools, participated in the competition. Sood also released the Nepali version of ‘Gandhi’, a collection of Mahatma Gandhi’s sayings, on the occasion. The book is translated by Prof Dr Govinda Raj Bhattarai.
