KATHMANDU: A 42-year-old man who was injured after falling off a window of a guesthouse in Mitranagar, Gongabu of Kathmandu died during treatment on Saturday.

Bhakti Bahadur Kathayat from Yonjong-3 of Terhathum district had sustained serious injuries after he fell from the window of the Nagarjun Guesthouse on January 5.

He was taken to the Dhapasi-based Green City Hospital for treatment.

Police said Kathayat was going to a toilet under the influence of alcohol while he fell down 10 days ago.

He was residing at the guesthouse after landing in Kathmandu from Saudi Arabia on January 5.

Further investigation is underway.
