HSEB sets up fund

The Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) has established an Educational Quality Improvement Fund to improve the quality of education in the community higher secondary schools.

The HSEB has allotted Rs 21.6 million for this purpose and additional Rs 8.5 million has been allocated for the community higher secondary schools in remote areas this year, said Ram Bahadur Khadka, member-secretary of the HSEB.

The HSEB had appropriated the budget of Rs 386.6 million for this year.
